2018 Napa Valley Rose
Winemaker Notes: A beautiful bouquet of cantaloupe, cherry, strawberry, peach, cedar, and clove. Racy bright acidity fills the mouth with flavors of strawberry and raspberry, followed by a nimble of fresh strawberry and orange peel to finish.
Composition: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot
Harvest Date: October 2018
Barrel Regime: Combination of neutral barrels and stainless steel
Vinification: Rosé de Saignée taken from tank on the first day of harvest. Fermented at 60°F for four months in neutral and stainless steel. Settled on its own lees, racked and bottled.
2015 Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine critic James Suckling had this to say about the wine, “Nutmeg, dried herbs, jasmine, freshly cut grass, eucalyptus, and vanilla undertones. Full-bodied with flashy tannins and a violet extract finish. Outstanding, drink in 2020.” 90 pts
